Veba AVRS1 is a parking assistance system that simplifies reversing manoeuvres by alerting the driver to the presence of obstacles to the rear of the vehicle. The kit includes 4 rear sensors and a dashboard display to warn you of the impending obstacle.
How it works?
The unit interacts with reverse gear meaning that once reverse gear is selected, the sensors mounted in the rear bumper are engaged. The driver is alerted to any obstacle behind the vehicle whilst reversing by an intermitent beeping sound that gradually intensifies as the obstacle approaches and becomes continuous once the vehicle is within 30 cm. The kit will detect any obstacles within 1.6 meters of your rear bumper.
