AIS dockStar rear-seat entertainment system

AIS dockStar combines the safety and quality of an installed car DVD system with the security, flexibility and cost-effectiveness of a portable DVD player.

The dockStar master DVD screen has a 7” high resolution screen with built-in DVD player and USB port for playback of downloaded audio and video files. Easily controlled with the included infra red remote or front panel buttons, it’s easy to use for passengers of all ages and includes a set of wireless headphones. Optional AV input and AV output cables permit expansion with other audio/video devices and the optional AC adaptor allows in-home viewing too.

The dockStar docking bay is held in place by your car’s existing headrest post fixings to ensure passenger safety. The system has been tested to comply with the most rigorous automotive safety standards. The docking bay takes power from your car radio or centre console cigarette lighter for a professional, wire-free installation. When the screen is removed, power is isolated from the docking bay. When docked, you can easily adjust the screen viewing angle and even invert the screen for more comfortable viewing by smaller passengers.

Within the dockStar starter kit, you receive two docking bays, the necessary cabling to interconnect the bays and provide power and a dockStar master DVD screen. The system can be expanded with a dockStar slave screen that replicates the picture playing on the master screen, or with an additional master screen allowing each rear seat passenger to watch independent video content.

dockStar is especially cost-effective for multiple car families as each vehicle can be equipped with dockStar docking bays and screens can be simply moved between cars.
